We are mom-founded and research-informed. At Sorette, we help brands meaningfully connect with modern mothers by offering a proprietary Seal of Approval built on ingredient transparency, regulatory alignment, and expert-informed standards.

The Sorette Seal of Approval is a mark awarded to individual products that meet our internal review criteria. It is not a safety certification or medical designation, and should not be interpreted as evidence that a product is "pregnancy safe." At this time, we do not conduct physical product testing for contaminants; our process is based entirely on documentation that the brand provides and ingredient analysis.

As the first platform focused exclusively on helping mom’s navigate consumer products, we give brands a credibility tool that resonates with discerning consumers — helping to build trust in a crowded, and often unregulated market.

A Modern Approach

Sorette is redefining how brands earn consumer trust in the motherhood market — not through vague claims or greenwashing, but by providing clear, science-informed standards that supports full ingredient transparency and accountability.

We do not certify absolute product safety or make medical claims. Instead, we evaluate product documentation against our proprietary No-Go List™ and broader regulatory guidance to determine whether a product aligns with our internal standards. Products that meet our internal criteria earn the right to license the Sorette Seal of Approval.

Our standards are informed by global regulatory research and expert input across toxicology, dermatology, and women’s health.

    For brands, the Seal is a powerful way to build trust with a growing audience of health-conscious consumers. With limited regulation and inconsistent definitions around terms like “clean” or “non-toxic,” today’s consumer is overwhelmed by noise—and actively seeking guidance. The Sorette Seal helps simplify the decision-making process and reinforces brand credibility.

    Licensed use of the Seal grants brands the right to use the Sorette Seal of Approval on approved products, packaging, and marketing materials. It also unlocks access to our curated marketplace, targeted campaigns, and a community deeply engaged in wellness, motherhood, and conscious consumption.

    • Documentation-Based Vetting
      Products bearing the Sorette Seal have been reviewed through a documentation-based process. We evaluate ingredient disclosures, sourcing transparency, and regulatory alignment using global safety frameworks and our proprietary No-Go List™.

    • Internal Standards Only
      The Seal reflects compliance with Sorette’s own standards — developed in consultation with toxicologists, maternal health experts, and existing regulatory bodies. It does not represent approval by any third-party certifier, government agency, or medical body.

    • Applies to Individual Products
      The Seal is granted on a per-product basis. It does not imply endorsement of an entire brand or company.

    • No Physical or Laboratory Testing
      At this time, Sorette does not conduct safety testing, clinical trials, or laboratory analysis of products or ingredients. Our review is based on information submitted by the brand and publicly available data sources.

    • The Sorette Seal of Approval is not a medical designation.

    • It is not a certification of product safety, nor is it evidence that a product is “pregnancy safe.”

    • It does not guarantee risk-free use, efficacy, or regulatory compliance.

    • It is not a replacement for professional medical advice or individualized safety assessment.

    Due to data gaps in ingredient research — particularly in pregnancy and maternal health — no universal safety determination can be made. Sorette does not make such claims.

  • For Personal Care Products & Household Cleaning Products:
    Brands will agree to our Terms & Conditions for privacy protection and then input their product information directly into our secure platform. This includes submitting a fully transparent formulation, answering questions around third-party testing, and providing sustainability details. The product will be screened against Sorette's proprietary No-Go List™ to ensure compliance with our rigorous standards. This process typically takes 2-4 weeks, depending on how promptly the required information is submitted. After reviewing the results, Sorette may request additional documentation to verify compliance. Once the review is complete, we will notify you whether your product is approved, requires further clarification, or is ineligible for licensing.

    For Non-Personal Care Products (Hard Goods):
    Brands will submit a detailed list of product materials and relevant safety data for evaluation. Sorette will assess the product based on our proprietary standards, and additional information may be requested as needed. The timeline for this process varies depending on the complexity of the product and the speed of submission.

    For Ingestible Products:
    Vetting for ingestible products is coming soon.

  • A one-time annual payment is due once your products are approved. If your products are not approved, no payment will be required (subject to change).

    Our fee structure is a tiered program depending on how you’d like to engage with Sorette’s marketing programs starting at $5,500

    The first SKU are onboarded for free, with a $1,250 onboarding fee for each additional SKU.

    After onboarding, brands can choose from three pricing tiers, each offering a range of licensing and marketing opportunities, including a listing on Sorette.
